Dr MUMEEN OLAITAN SALIHU MB; BS, MWACPsych., Associate Fellow NPMCN, Cert. Global Health Research

Mumeen Olaitan Salihu is a Senior Registrar in Psychiatry with the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital, Nigeria. He is a member of the Research & Statistics Committee and a Collaborator at Research Collaboration Network (RCN) under the auspices of the Nigerian Association of Resident Doctors (NARD).

His research interests include General Adults Psychiatry, Workplace Mental Health, Addictions, and Biological psychiatry.

Due to his strong passion for evidence-based medical practices, he attended several courses and conferences on research, including the Global Health Research course organized by the Washington University, USA. This and many more have further equipped him with requisite knowledge of principles, ethics, research practices, and its applications in solving local challenges/problems.

Mumeen has equally held various leadership and administrative positions; notable of it was the President of the Association of Resident Doctors, University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital Chapter (ARD-UITH) from 2018 to 2019, among others.

He is happily married with two lovely kids.
